The Labour MP for Sheffield Hallam has backed a petition calling for Jeremy Corbyn to try and stop trees being felled in the city.
More than 7,500 people have called on the Labour Leader to act over the controversial tree felling by Sheffield City Council in the city.
Jared O' Mara, who was elected in place of former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg last June, has endorsed the petition.
Earlier this month, Sheffield City Council was granted an injunction to stop campaigners getting in the way of council contractors felling trees.
The council says the work is needed to improve the highways.
