Barnsley singer Holly Tandy has been voted out of this year's X Factor live shows, failing to win a place in the competition's semi final.
The 16 year old performed a version of Ariana Grande and The Weeknd's 'Love Me Harder'. Watch Holly perform:
Holly's song received mixed reviews from the judging panel. Simon Cowell told her that she looked more "current and relevant" than last week but questioned whether it was the right song choice for her. Nicole Scherzinger told her, "You have such a big voice" but said she wanted her vocals to be more playful.
Fellow judge Louis Walsh questioned whether her performance was enough to remain in the contest saying, "If I'm really I honest I think you could be under pressure." But her own mentor Sharon Osbourne described her as being "Right up there with everyone else" saying "You did yourself proud. I'm really, really proud of you."
But following the public vote it was confirmed that Holly was one of the two acts with the fewest votes and would leave the competition along with Rai-Elle Williams. See the moment they were told:
Holly said she was honoured to share the stage with some fantastic people and thanked everyone who voted for her.
The act chosen as this weekend's winner was the group Rak-Su who win a recording session with a top songwriter in Los Angeles. They will perform in the semi-final next weekend alongside Grace Davies, Lloyd Macey, Matt Linnen, Kevin Davy White and The Cutkelvins.
