Two men are in hospital after an explosion at a house in North Leeds, where they are are being treated for injures.
West Yorkshire Police were called to an incident at a property in Silk Mill Drive, Cookridge, at around 2.50pm.
Officers said: "It is not being treated as terrorism related incident."
A nearby property was also evacuated due to structural damage from the blast.
Police remain at the scene and road closures are still in place.
Engineers from Northern Gas networks are also at the scene, a spokesperson for the company has confirmed.
West Yorkshire Police said "enquires are on-going".
