The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were greeted by crowds as they toured the region today.

Schoolchildren lined up in Halifax, where the Royal couple met youngsters involved in the Prince's Trust, and even took a ride on a steam train.

This afternoon, Prince Charles formally restarted a massive furnace at Liberty Speciality Steels in Rotherham - a major milestone in the revival of the country's steel industry.
