A rather cloudy night, with outbreaks of rain, along with mist and fog patches. Some snow is likely across the Pennines, mainly at first. Icy patches, and a slight frost remains possible, especially around areas with snow cover. Lows -1°C.


A damp start, with early fog patches and rain clearing. Brighter spells are then likely, but perhaps also the odd shower. Turning milder, with a thaw of lying snow. Highs 9°C.
