It is ovarian cancer awareness month and research has found that four out of five women do not know how to spot the warning signs.
The disease is responsible for the deaths of eleven people every day. Early detection is essential and campaigners are working hard to educate women to recognise the symptoms. A host of celebrities are getting behind the campaign.

Calendar journalist Heather Clarke is currently having treatment for Ovarian cancer. She has been into the Calendar studio alongside Victoria Clare from the charity Ovacome, to talk about the disease.
Heather who has stage 4 was first diagnosed last year. She says it is her mission to raise awareness of the disease. Here is her story.
