Worker threatened in robbery at Goole newsagents

A shop worker has been threatened during a robbery at a newsagents in Goole.

Police say a man walked into Carlisle Newsbooze on Carlisle Street around 4.15pm on Saturday, threatened a shop worker and stole cigarettes and a significant quantity of cash.

The suspect then left the shop and rode off towards Hook Road on a yellow bicycle which had a basket on the front.

He had his face covered with possibly a scarf, and was wearing a dark coat with a fur trim around the hood and blue jeans.
