A 38-year-old man is seriously ill in hospital after the third stabbing in Sheffield in just five days.
He suffered stab wounds to his leg and chest following the attack on Asline Road in the Bramhall area of the city in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to nearby Cherry Street where the victim was found. South Yorkshire Police are currently searching the surrounding streets.
It comes after a 15-year-old boy, whose name is yet to be released by police, and 19-year-old Ryan Jowle were killed within two days in separate stabbings this week.
