Lincoln City have been granted planning permission for their new £1.3million training ground.

In recent seasons the League Two side have been forced to train at an army barracks and a Lincolnshire school, but dreams of a state-of-the-art Elite Performance Centre are now close to becoming a reality.

West Lindsey District Council has approved plans for three grass pitches, a gym, changing rooms and staff offices near RAF Scampton.

We are pleased to have reached this stage of the project and I would like to thank West Lindsey District Council and their planning and development manager, Oliver Fytche-Taylor, for their support on behalf of the football club and we now look forward to seeing things taking shape over the coming weeks and months.
