A man has been jailed for more than five years after he pleaded guilty to assault and burglary charges.

Kevin Haley, of Cobden Street, Allerton, was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court yesterday.

The charges related to two assaults outside a Bingley nightclub, both of which occurred in the early hours of 2 October 2016.

In one of the incidents he punched a man in the face several times, causing him to suffer serious injuries which required hospital treatment.

A female was also repeatedly punched in the face in a separate attack.

Haley, 28, also pleaded guilty to two burglaries which occurred in Bradford and Halifax in March this year.

He received a total of 63 months in prison.

Haley attacked his victims with such force that some of them required prolonged treatment after their stays in hospital.
