Tonight: Outbreaks of rain clearing erratically to the east. Drier, clearer conditions to follow with the odd shower for the Pennines, and perhaps some patchy mist forming as winds decrease. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
Wednesday: A much drier, brighter day for most but feeling cooler. The Pennines will be cloudier with a few showers, these becoming more frequent and heavier into the evening. Winds freshening later. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday: Thursday, stronger winds with showers heavier and more frequent. Friday, early rain clearing and brightening up. Saturday, a mixture of bright spells and showers.
