An adventurer is out to prove the old adage that 'if at first you don't succeed then simply try, try and try again'.
Army veteran Charlie Martell was in Leeds yesterday to talk about his second attempt to become the first man to row solo 5,000 miles across the North Pacific.
His first attempt, six years ago, was cut short when he ran into a typhoon and his boat Blossom was badly damaged.
This spring, though, he's going to try again. A great supporter of events at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, he's already secured the staff's support for his voyage.
