Detectives investigating the death of 21-year-old boxer Tom Bell have arrested two people in connection to his death.
A 29-year-old man was last night (Saturday 19 January) arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both were arrested in the South Cave area of Humberside.
The 21-year-old boxer, from Doncaster, was shot in what police have described as a 'targeted attack' at the Maple Tree pub on Plantation Road, Balby, on January 17th.
He was taken to hospital but died shortly after. Detectives still want to hear from anyone with information or who has dashcam footage from the area.
