The wife of the missing man Nicholas Harper, from Pickering, has made a heartfelt plea for information about his disappearance.
Rachel Harper described Nicholas as “a much-loved husband and father”.
She added: "The boys and I, and all of Nick’s family and friends, miss him desperately. I would ask anyone who thinks they have any information that might help us to find Nick, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, to please contact the police."
Mr Harper was last seen on the morning of Thursday 7 February. He left home but did not arrive at work.
His car was later found at Cowhouse Wood in Helmsley, and detectives are now trying to trace the owner of another car parked in the same car park.
They believe the silver estate vehicle had been driven into the car park that morning, as well as in preceding days. Police think the driver may have seen or heard something that may prove useful to the investigation.
Nicholas is a keen long-distance fell runner, and searches took place around the vicinity of the woodland.
He is described as being white, 5ft 5ins, of stocky build, and with short dark-brown hair and full beard. He was last seen wearing a three-piece suit and shirt.
Police ask anyone with information to call 101.
