Traders in the flower industry both in Yorkshire and abroad have voiced fears that a hard Brexit could impact florists and push up prices for consumers in England.

It comes as Prime Minister Theresa May goes in search of an olive branch from Europe and a new route for Brexit, after Parliament voted for her to seek a delay to Britain's departure from the European Union until after March 29.

ITV News has been given access to the world's biggest flower market, RoyalFlora Holland in Aalsmeer near Amsterdam, to gauge what could happen if and when Britain leaves the EU.

It is feared those dealing with fresh produce such as florists, greengrocers and transport companies face the prospect of delays at ports and even tariffs in the event of a hard Brexit.
