A 19-year-old man has appeared before magistrates charged with murder of a woman at a caravan site in Doncaster.
Costica Mihai of St Catherine's Avenue, Balby, Doncaster, was remanded in custody - and is next due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Wednesday.
Tracey McFarquhar, 52, died after being hit at the entrance of Whitegates Caravan Park on Station Road, Dunscroft, near Doncaster, on Friday afternoon.
Officers said that the vehicle involved left the area and a red Citroen Berlingo was recovered a short time later.
A 17-year-old boy arrested in connection with the death has since been bailed as inquiries continue, a force spokesman said.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw the vehicle driving between Dunscroft and Wadworth on Friday afternoon. The collision happened at around 1.50pm.
