A man who sexually assaulted and raped a two-year-old girl, before uploading images of him doing so to the internet, has been jailed for life.
Terry Coneyworth, 31, of Derwent Avenue, Hull, admitted a total of 19 sexual offences charges involving the abuse of a young child, in what the officer who led the investigation described as “the most serious and disturbing case I have dealt with in my 16 years of service”.
He was sentenced to life at Hull Crown Court with a minimum eight year term, after Judge Mark Bury told him his offending showed "a grotesque breach of trust".
Detective Constable Gregg Anderson said:
Today’s sentence reflects the seriousness of Coneyworth’s abuse of his young victim and the potential danger he posed to others.
