A man's been arrested in Leeds in an operation involving armed officers.
Around a dozen armed officers were seen outside a house in Redmire Drive at Seacroft. West Yorkshire Police say they were there to carry out 'arrest enquiries' in relation to a report of an incident involving a firearm on April 21.
Shortly after 11am today (April 23rd) a 26-year-old man was arrested from the address on suspicion of burglary and possession of a firearm and taken into custody.
Police say a number of loud bangs were infact smoke bombs and not gunshots.
A cordon was put in place to ensure the public's safety
