It happened outside shops on Shannon Road off Holderness Road just after 11pm on Sunday 19 May.

The victim was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his abdomen. His injuries, although serious, are not life threatening.

It is believed that both men could still be around the Hull area.

Detective Inspector Allison Sweeting said:

“I also want anyone who may know where they are to let us know. I want to remind anyone who might be harbouring these wanted men that they too could be committing a crime by doing so.

“Can I make it very clear that I believe that this incident involved men who were known to each other, was isolated, and there was and is no further threat to the wider community."
