A man and a woman are due to appear in court charged with murdering two teenage boys in Sheffield.
The woman also faces three counts of attempted murder following the incident at a house in the Shiregreen area on Friday.
A 37-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, were arrested after a total of six children – aged between 11 months and 14 years-old – were rescued from the house on Friday morning.
The deaths of the boys, aged 13 and 14, were confirmed on Friday afternoon.
South Yorkshire Police have yet to confirm how they died but quashed rumours of a shooting.
They are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
The man and the woman will appear at Sheffield Magistrates Court this morning.
