We were called out at 11.06am and arrived on scene at 11.11am. We sent engines from Clough Road, Calvert Lane and Hull Central. A four-year-old girl was rescued by fire crews from the upstairs bedroom and was left in the care of paramedics. She is currently en route to hospital to be checked over. An adult was already outside the house when crews arrived and was unable to reach the child as it was too dangerous and the house was smoke-filled. Officers are at the scene in order to carry out an investigation into the cause of the fire.”
