Two men have been jailed for killing South Yorkshire boxer Tom Bell.

The 21-year-old was shot deat at the Maple Tree pub in Plantation Road, Balby, in January.

Scott Gocoul was found guilty of murder following a trial at Sheffield Crown Court.

He was jailed for life with a minimum term of 33 years.

Joseph Bennia, who was also charged with murder, was convicted of manslaughter. He was jailed for 17 years.

In a victim impact statement, Mr Bell's mother said: "When Tom was killed I was killed as well... I'm locked in a room I can't escape from."

His father said he had been given "a life sentence of torture, pain and misery."
