A 20-year-old Sheffield man will appear in court charged with the murder of Lewis Bagshaw.
Jervaise Bennett, of Bishopholme Close, Sheffield was charged yesterday (25/09) and will appear before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has also been charged with murder.
Seven additional people have been arrested as part of the ongoing investigation and have been bailed until October.
Police were called to Piper Crescent in the Longley area of the city at around 10:15pm on Sunday 21 July, following reports that the 21-year-old had suffered stab wounds to his chest.
He was taken to hospital where he sadly died.
