Following enquiries at the scene a 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of and then charged with Mr Suggitt’s murder.

He appeared at Leeds Crown Court today (October 14) and was remanded in custody.

We are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Mr Suggitt’s murder and are appealing for help to locate items which we think were missing from his property.

It is very important that we locate his missing phone and ring and I would ask anyone who has been offered them for sale or even seen them perhaps discarded to contact us.
