Former council leader banned from driving after drink- drive crash

The former leader of North East Lincolnshire Council has been banned from driving for more than two years after admitting a charge of drink-driving.

Ray Oxby was found to be more than twice the legal drink-drive limit after he drove his car into his own garden wall on February the 28th.

The 63-year-old - who resigned in March - was also ordered to pay almost £1200. Jonathan Brown reports.
