Former goalkeeper who quit football over mental health issue campaigns for awareness

A former goalkeeper who quit football for the good of his mental health has urged others to talk about issues they may be struggling with.

Chris Kirkland was playing for Sheffield Wednesday when he suffered with anxiety and depression, now he is campaigning for greater awareness and support. Lisa Adlam reports.

"It's the hardest thing to ask for help but once you do, speaking from experience, it's the only way."
