A second man has been arrested in Sheffield this morning (15 January) as part of the ongoing investigation into a shooting in the Arbourthorne area on Sunday (12 January) where a 12 year old boy was shot.
A 25 year old man, from Sheffield, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and is currently in police custody.
Emergency services were called to Northern Avenue at around 3.45pm on Sunday, where a innocent 12-year-old boy was found with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 30-year-old man arrested yesterday (14 January) on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm remains in custody at this time.
