Family’s tribute to man who died in incident at Catterick Garrison

A 58-year-old man, from Richmond, who died after becoming trapped in a military vehicle has been named as Alistair Ferguson.

Alistair, a contractor, was carrying out maintenance on the military vehicle when the incident occured. He was given CPR but sadly died at the scene.It happened around 10am on the 18th January at Piave Lines Barracks, Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire.

His family have issued the following tribute:
