Prince William 'paves the way' while opening tarmac park in Nottinghamshire

The Duke of Cambridge has been in Nottinghamshire today, opening a tarmac centre and visiting a homeless project.

This morning Prince William visited the Tarmac National Skills and Safety Park in Nether Langwith, near Warsop. He tried out some of the machinery and met the company's staff and apprentices before officially opening the centre. He also attended a meeting with UK business bosses to discuss improving opportunities for young people.

For the next engagement the Duke met with service users and volunteers at the Beacon Project, a day centre which gives support to homeless and vulnerable people in Mansfield.
