'Much loved' Lincoln lecturer dies after contracting coronavirus symptoms

A senior lecturer at the University of Lincoln, who had been taken ill with coronavirus symptoms, has died.

Clive Kettley, taught financial and management accountancy at theuniversity where he had been for 10 years.

He had been teaching online during the Covid-19 outbreak.

The University of Lincoln has said his passing is a devastating blowfor family, friends, colleagues and his students.

The University of Lincoln can confirm that a much loved, and long term member of teaching staff has sadly passed away.

Colleagues said Mr Kettley had been suffering with symptoms associated with coronavirus but the cause of his death has yet to be confirmed by health officials.

A total of 78 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Lincolnshireby Public Health England.
