Police have been given more time to question a man arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Grantham.
The 23-year-old victim was found dead at a property on Chestnut Grove on Wednesday night.
A 30-year-old man was arrested a short time later and remains in custody.
Lincolnshire Police say they are not looking for anyone else.
Detective Chief Inspector Karl Whiffen, who is leading the investigation, said: “The local community may see increased police activity in the vicinity of Chestnut Grove, Grantham.
"I wanted to take this opportunity to let the public know we remain committed to conducting our inquiries, and ensuring that we will be comprehensive in terms of our investigation."
