The daughter of the world record breaker Jack Reynolds has paid tribute to her 'unforgettable' father, after he passed away at the age of 108.
Jayne Goodwin, Jack's daughter
Jack, who was a great-great grandfather and from Hollingwood near Chesterfield, captured the hearts of the public as he broke world records, raising money for charities in the process.
He was the oldest person to complete the ice bucket challenge at the age of 102 and made it into the record books by becoming the oldest person to get their first tattoo at the age of 104.
Just a year later he bagged another record, as he became the oldest person to ride a roller coaster at the age of 105.
At 106 he set the record for being the oldest person to ride a zip wire, before breaking his fourth world record at the 107, when he hit the silver screen as he starred in Hollyoaks and became theoldest person to act in a soap opera.
Jack celebrated his 108th birthday on April 6 and did have more record breaking plans but they had to be cancelled due to his ill health.
However, that did not stop him from raising £1700 for a local charity, Helen's Trust, which had helped to look after him.
Jack passed away on Saturday April 25.
