A group of sewers has been working non-stop during the coronavirus pandemic so that staff at their local hospital can stay safe.
In that time The Harrogate Scrubbers have managed to create more than 2,000 scrubs. The group, which started with four people, has now grown to 840 members in just seven weeks.
Originally set up in response to the shortage of medical uniforms, they have created three sets of scrubs for each member of staff, together with PPE gowns, hats and other equipment.
