Hull Royal Infirmary will be holding a minute's silence this afternoon to pay respect to a staff member who died after testing positive for coronavirus.
Adrian Cruttenden, who was a medical records administrator at the HRI, died on 27 May, 2020. His colleagues described him as 'a really valued member of the team.'
Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are asking people to join them at 12 noon for a minute's silence in Adrian's memory.
Chris Long, Chief Executive of Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust said:
It is with great sadness that I announce the death of Adrian Cruttenden, an administrator within the medical records team at our organisation. Adrian died after falling ill and being admitted to Hull Royal Infirmary on 4th May. Tests confirmed the presence of COVID-19.
