RAF release video to honour pilot killed in US military jet crash in North Sea

The RAF have released a video to honour the US pilot who died when his fighter plane crashed into the North Sea off East Yorkshire.

Lieutenant Kenneth Allen was killed on Monday whilst on a training mission.

RAF Lakenheath, where he was based, posted pictures of their tribute in the form of a 'missing man' formation, saying 'rest easy warrior'.

RAF Lakenheath said his body was repatriated onThursday.

Wreckage was located before the pilot was found and confirmed to be dead. The cause of the crash is not known and an investigation is under way.
