West Yorkshire has the fourth highest number of vehicle thefts in the UK, according to figures recorded by UK police forces.
Five thousand, eight hundred and seventy-one vehicles were stolen in the county between April 2018 and March 2019. Nationally there was a fifty-six per cent increase in motors stolen over a four-year period.
Lincolnshire has the lowest number of vehicle thefts.
