Police have released a picture of a Black BMW they would like to trace after firearms, and ammunition were amongst items stolen from a farmhouse in North Yorkshire.

The intruders forced their way through automatic gates into the farm in Conley and then smashed the patio doors to get inside. They ransacked the farmhouse before ripping a gun cabinet from a wall which contained three rifles, a semi-automatic shotgun and ammunition.

Cash and jewellery, including including a five stone opal ring (pictured) was also stolen during the raid on Friday 24 July between 2.40pm and 3pm.
