Ryan Ackroyd is due to appear before Westminster Magistrates on 16th March. The FBI says Ackroyd is also charged with two counts of computer hacking. Each conspiracy count carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
Ryan Ackroyd, 25, from Mexborough, was one of five people charged in a court in New York for being part of the hacking group known as 'Lulz Security'.
It has been revealed that the Metropolitan Police have also charged him, on two counts of conspiracy relating to computers.
