Senseless Death

The family of 31-year-old Amjad Hussain, who was found murdered at his home in Bradford in January have today spoken of their devastation over his 'senseless' death.

Mr Hussain's elderly mother Riaz Bi travelled from Pakistan to join her daughter Rukhsana Shaban in appealing for more help to track down whoever inflicted horrific injuries on Mr Hussain, before trying to set fire to his house in Rylstone Gardens.

Speaking in Urdu with an interpreter to translate, the two women said they were 'numb' over their loss.

He was much respected and loved and his senseless death has left a hole in our lives which will never be filled and tears in our eyes which will never dry. We would ask the public to come forward and help us get justice for Amjad and his wife and son who desperately misses his daddy.'
