An inquest jury decided that neglect by staff led to the death of Peter Barnes at a psychiatric hospital in West Yorkshire.
His family, from Lincoln, today visited the spot where Peter died to lay flowers. His mother Karen said she hoped lessons would be learnt from her son's death.
