The family of a boy from Leeds with autism says a specially-trained corgi is helping their son cope better with the condition. Nick Gilling, 14, from Yeadon, finds interacting with other people difficult.
He says that going walking with his new 3½ year old corgi Sally helps him to start conversations with other people and gives him more confidence. The dog has also been dressed in a tie and jumper to encourage Nick to wear his school uniform and is now learning to play cards.
