Tragic mum dies 2 years after blaze claimed her children

A mother who was badly injured two years ago in a fire which claimed the lives of her three children has died. Samantha Hudson, who was 29, had been in residential care recently and died from pneumonia.

Her three children, William, Anthony, and Maddie-Jane, all perished in the fire which ripped through their home in Bridlington as they slept. Jon Hill reports

Pensioner believed to be victim of house fire

Tests are being carried out on the victim of a fatal house fire in Leeds.

It happened in Westbourne Place in the Beeston area just before midnight last night.

The body of a woman thought to be in her 80s, was found in the house.

An investigation to find out what caused the fire has started, but Police are not treating it as suspicious.
