Scunthorpe United's new manager Nick Daws has admitted reaching the League One play-offs may be a long shot - but it isn't totally out of reach.
The 45 year old former Rotherham United midfielder has been speaking for the first time since getting the job fulltime. Daws and his new assistant Andy Dawson have overseen four wins in five matches since taking over as caretakers after the club parted company with Mark Robins. Scunthorpe are currently in mid-table, eight points off the top six.
Daws says he's delighted to have got the job, and isn't surprised by the recent upturn in results that's seen them move well clear of the relegation zone.
