Detectives have released CCTV images of five men they want to identify over an incident of violent disorder at an unofficial after-party at a Leeds bar following last year's MOBO awards.
People from across the UK were at the event at Bar Soba, in Merrion Street, which followed the MOBO music awards at Leeds Arena last Friday.
At about 2.45am on November 5, trouble began in the bar when an unidentified man was assaulted.
A number of other men then started to throw glasses and furniture indiscriminately around the bar.
Although no-one subsequently came forward to report being assaulted, it is clear from CCTV that a number of members of the public were struck by flying bottles and furniture. Damage was also caused to the bar.
The footage shows people fleeing from the bar in fear and staff were forced to retreat to safety.
These were some very ugly scenes that marred what had otherwise been a night of celebration for the majority of people who attended this event. We are treating the incident as an offence of violent disorder and are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace those responsible. We have spent a considerable amount of time analysing CCTV footage from that night and have produced images of five men who we believe were linked to the disorder. We are aware from witnesses that people had travelled to Leeds from across the UK and so our suspects could potentially be from anywhere. The images are very clear and these men will be identifiable to anyone who knows them. While we have spoken to a number of witnesses, we would also like to hear from anyone else who was at the event and saw what happened.

X Factor judge Rita Ora is to perform at the MOBO Awards which are taking place in Leeds in November. The star is no stranger to the MOBO stage – she first performed in 2008 with Craig David and Tinchy Stryder. A few years later she returned to scoop a MOBO Award for Best Newcomer.
When I was asked to perform at this year’s MOBO Awards, of course I was going to say yes. MOBO gave me my first break on TV in 2008, when I performed as a featured artist before I had even released a single.
Rita Ora joins already announced performers Krept and Konan, FKA Twigs, Naughty Boy and Ella Eyre. The 20th MOBO Awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 4 at The First Direct Arena in Leeds.
The 2015 MOBO Awards airs live on ITV 2.
