It's thought a skeleton found beneath the grounds of Lincoln Castle could date back to around 900AD.
Archaeologists are currently on site conducting a dig as part of restoration work that's being made to the Castle itself.
The skeleton was discovered in a stone coffin buried three metres beneath the ground, alongside eight others which were found in wooden coffins.
