It has been claimed that the north - south divide is getting wider and towns and cities here in our region are lagging behind London when it comes to the economic recovery.
A study by the think tank 'the Centre for Cities' says whilst the capital is booming, places like Bradford, Doncaster and Sheffield have been dealt big blows when it comes to public sector job losses.
