Protesters opposed to fracking have set up camp close to a site in East Yorkshire which they say could be a location where the controversial shale gas extraction technique is used in the future.

'Hull and East Yorkshire Frack Off' say fracking could harm the water course and want assurances that it will not be allowed to take place.

Several tents have been put up at the side of the road at Walkington Heads just outside the village of Walkington close to the Crawberry Hill wellsite.

The campaigners say they hope more people will join them.
