Youth Parliament take over House of Commons

The average age in the House of Commons was lowered considerably today when members of the Youth Parliament took over.

Budding politicians from across the country were invited to lead - and oppose - debates on such subjects as the minimum wage, the improvement of mental health services and votes for 16 and 17-year-olds.
