Hull City manager Steve Bruce has demanded an apology from out-of-favour defender Paul McShane.

The Republic of Ireland international, who's the club's longest serving player and a firm favourite with the fans, hasn't played since the start of November, and has recently taken to social media to vent his frustration after being sent to train with the club's development squad.

At today's news conference ahead of the Boxing Day fixture at Sunderland Bruce wouldn't elaborate on the exact reasons for their bust-up, but he said the ball is in McShane's court.
