Songwriter and producer Eliot Kennedy drops into Calendar studio

He's sold 80 million records around the world, picked up a grammy along the way, and has currently got a hit show on Broadway with his best mate Gary Barlow.

Songwriter and producer Eliot Kennedy has never chased the limelight that comes with his extraordinary talent and still lives in Sheffield where he was born and bred.

As a child he didn't even take music lessons and there were no signs of what was to come until his headmaster at Dinnington High School near Rotherham heard his first album and talked him into quitting school.

He has worked with Take That, written for the Spice girls, who've stayed at his house, and is pals with Bryan Adams.

Right now his show Neverland, the life story of playwrite JM Barrie is a hit on Broadway.
